Biography

Mr. Min Htin currently works as “Program Director” at Everdone Business School (EBS) and delivers lectures for students sitting examinations held by ACCA, CIMA, AAT, LCCI, AICPA, IQN professional bodies and universities. He teaches Business Ethics for Professionals, Taxation, Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Modern Marketing, Sales and Account Management, Accountant in Business, and Human Resource Management at EBS. He is also serving to SMY International College as “Adjunct Lecturer” and teaching Logistics and Supply Management. SMY is a member organization of Shenton Education Group (SEG), Singapore and Myanmar Campus for Singapore Institute of Material Management (SIMM). He is a former “Visiting Lecturer” at the Monywa University of Economics and had given the Logistical Management lectures for MBA Candidates. He has more than 6 years teaching experience in the MBA environment. Apart from his academic teaching experiences, he had worked for luxury river cruise ships named “Road To Mandalay” and “Orcaella” as a “Ground Logistics Manager” and “Passenger Service Manager” for more than 22 years. He was the most responsible person for those ships by managing procurement, supervising warehouses and material handling, coordinating airlines, arranging onboard entertainment, designing cruise programs, handling land and river transport, organizing special events and charters, and leading all ground operations, He is very much keen to serve non-profit organizations for civil society strengthening and youth empowerment. His positions and responsibilities are; “National Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator” at Myanmar Scouts Association, “Extended Board Member” of National Council of YMCAs of Myanmar, “Member” of Sagaing Region Tourism Development Committee, “Board Member” for the YMCA in Mandalay, and “Chairperson of Myanmar Red Cross Society” in Amarapura Township. He has extensive responsibility for training and development and, gives lectures and conducts workshops/ seminars on various management subjects to NPOs, NGOs, CSOs, for-profit organizations/ companies and government departments throughout the nation. His main interest is in human resources management and youth development as it relates to the future of his country. He conducts corporate trainings and coaches the employees of the client companies. These activities can lead to the proper establishment of the HR and Finance systems and create well balanced culture of the companies. He also acts as an Operations Auditor (Management Auditor) for the client companies. His highest achievement in education is Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Logistics and Supply Management from Horizon University in Paris, France. He received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Monywa University of Economics. He was elected as a MILT (Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics Transport) from the UK. He is an HHH Alumni (USA), Hubert H Humphrey Alumni (2010-11). He participated the program at University of Minnesota, University of Oregon, University of Maryland, University Colorado, and American Management Association. He also performed the Professional Affiliation with “Wilder Foundation” in Twin-Cities, Minnesota and “Counter-Part International” in Washington D.C. He also earned Post Graduate Bachelor of Religious Education (B.R.E.) from Myanmar Institute of Theology in Mandalay, Post Graduate Diplomas in Business Laws and Post Graduate in Business Studies. He studied a computer science focusing System Analysis in Singapore. His first degree is Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) majoring in Physics.
