Biography

Khin Shwe Sin Oo is from Mandalay and she has known the value of education and dreamed of being an educator since she was very young. After obtaining her degree in English from Mandalay University, she started working at an international school to be a qualified educator. She worked for over seven years at two elite International schools in Mandalay that follow British and American curriculum. After that, she decided to work as a trainer at different NGOs to boost the capacity of youth by giving English language skills and soft skills. She was selected in Southeast Asia Youth Leadership Program (Northern Illinois University, USA) as a group leader to study about leadership and civic engagement. Moreover, she also volunteers at Brahmaso Humanitarian Aid Organization and Aye Yeik Mon Girls’ Orphanage as a Youth Capacity Development Trainer and an English Language Teacher for the community development and women empowerment. She is currently serving as a trainer at iPACE (Institute for Political and Civic Engagement | World Learning) and also a member of US Ambassador's Youth Council in Myanmar.
